At W.I.S.E.R Learning Centre we run a brand new program that is girl-centered and aims to provide full support to working parents who are interested in homeschooling their girls going into Grades 5-8 and need an in-person facilitator to follow through with their coursework online. The program also provides a nurturing, safe, enhancing, and enriching environment for girls to build social connections and embrace the attributes of W.I.S.E.R. The ultimate goal is to ensure that our Muslim girls reach their highest academic potential and become all-rounded global citizens.

In our first year, the W.I.S.E.R Learning Centre will open up to limited spots ( on a first come first serve basis) to ensure a small class size and ample one-on-one support.

Students must be enrolled through SIDES ( South Island Distance Education School) as soon as possible ( before the end of the summer break). Please see the enrollment link here: https://www.sides.ca/en/enroll-now.html

Students must then register with the W.I.S.E.R Learning Centre to secure their spot. The program started in September 2024.

Students meet 4 days a week Monday to Thursday 9.00 am-4 pm, in person, at our current learning space, which is close to a local park, library, and recreation center.

At WISER, the students learn how to take charge of their learning and independently submit their assignments online on the SIDES portal all during school hours, allowing parents to spend more family time with their kids after school and to allow our girls to explore other interests.

Fridays are left open for students to attend Jumua prayers, and to expand their Islamic knowledge independently.

The monthly fee is $500 and is expected to be paid on the 1st of every month.
